La Ruta, Earth Charter International to Host Workshop on Climate Ethics
La Ruta del Clima is pleased to announce it will be co-hosting a workshop on climate ethics and climate justice with the collaboration of Earth Charter International, Red de Juventudes y Cambio Climático de Costa Rica and, the support of the Sfaira Foundation later this month.
Content:
Climate change brings about several ethical dilemmas that we must address in the coming years. Topics such as climate justice, the dynamics between the Global North and Global South and our responsibilities toward future generations are central to the discussion about climate change. We must also be willing to examine the ethics behind new technologies intended to address the climate crisis, such as geo-engineering.
Participants:
Our workshop will take a deep dive into these issues and many more. We will feature presentations on Climate Injustices, as well as Contradictions and Ethics in the Climate Crisis.
Date and time:
The workshop will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19 at the Impact Hub in Los Yoses.
