Climate Impacts disproportionately and unjustly affect vulnerable populations generating losses and damages. These negative impacts directly affect human rights and place an additional burden on Global South development and are drivers for inequality. The lack of funding opportunities and the active avoidance of responsibility by major carbon emitters has left communities in the frontlines to face climate impacts with no support and alone.
