Considering the national and global climate situation, La Ruta del Clima has implemented a research project in the community of Linda Vista de La Unión. The project ́s aim is to identify climate impacts, analyze existing vulnerabilities and asses loss and damage faced by this community. Although climate effects affect all people, from all contexts, in the case of urban areas, they have a greater impact on marginalized communities. Linda Vista is one of many communities in the Greater Metropolitan Area in Costa Rica that due to geographical, social, political and economic circumstances is more exposed environmental risk.
